Designed for OEM integration, IPS’s
wavelength stabilized single frequency “A-Type”
excitation source provides Raman system developers with a
retro-reflection insensitive, wavelength stabilized laser
alternative to existing thermally stabilized single-mode diode
sources. The A-Type module contains an integral diode
laser, TEC, thermistor, laser line filter and beam shaping
optics to provide a circularized and collimated Gaussian output
beam. The A-Type module also features a unique high performance
linear tracking photodiode that provides the user with linear
output power measurements that can be used to create ultra
stable APC control circuits or to normalize excitation power
in quantitative Raman spectral analysis. With output
power levels in excess of 100 mW, spectral linewidth <
0.001 nm and power stability < 0.5%, the A-type module
is ideal for high performance and confocal Raman spectroscopy.
